Martin Seligman, founder of Positive Psychology, found that the best way to recover from setbacks & become more resilient is by moving beyond the 3 Ps:
1) Personalisation
– The idea that you are at fault
2) Pervasiveness
– The belief that the event will affect all areas of your life
3) Permanence
– The thought that the effect of the event will be lifelong
