Weapons Effect: the tendency for aggressive behaviour to be increased simply because weapons are present
Weapons-Focus Effect: the tendency for witnesses to a violent crime (involving weapons) to focus upon the weapon rather than the individual committing the crime (& therefore compromising their ability to identify the criminal)
