– not going out any more
– loss of interest in enjoyable activities
– withdrawing from close family & friends
– being unable to concentrate & not getting things one at work or school
– feeling overwhelmed
– bing indecisive & lacking in confidence
– increased AOD use
– loss or change of appetite & significant weight gain or loss
– trouble getting to sleep, staying asleep & being tired during the day
– feeling worthless, helpless & guilty
– increased irritability, frustration & moodiness
– feeling unhappy, sad or miserable most of the time
– thoughts such as:
– “I’m a failure”
– “Life’s not worth living”
– “People would be better off without me”
