Anger isn’t wrong

Feeling angry isn’t wrong.

However, letting anger hurt someone else is. Or destroying property is.

When feeling angry, try to remember to do the things that make you feel better, such as:

-taking big breaths in and relaxing

– going to your favourite quiet place

– or talking about why you are feeling angry

these can all make anger go away as quickly as it came.

 

Nonetheless, anger is one of the most difficult (and natural( emotions to deal with.

Listen to angry children, let them vent (in a healthy way), and then allow them space to find their own solutions – this way they learn to have trust in themselves managing their anger, rather than feeling controlled by it.
