Mind full or Mindful?

Posted on Updated on

Mindfulness

1. one minute breathing exercise
– Time it
– focus solely on the breath

2. Mindful eating
– meal, sultana – whatever – no distractions – just notice everything that you can about the food
– pay full attention

3. Walking to be present
– focus on feet, wind, views, smells, breath
– luxuriate in Nature

4. De-stressing exercise
– stand, breathe & notice feelings
– do not get caught up in thoughts
– just label & distance yourself from the thought – that is a sad feeling, then let them go
– you are an observer

5. Breath to ground you
